This Privacy Policy explains how Myntify processes personal data when you visit our website (myntify.io) or use our software services.

This policy applies to all processing of personal data within our online offerings and software services. We comply with the requirements of the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide, optimize, and manage our services. This includes in particular:

• Contact and communication data (e.g. name, email address, phone number)
• Usage and technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of access)
• Content data you actively provide (e.g. files, texts, chat requests)

• Provision and operation of the software (chat and knowledge platform)
• Processing of inquiries, support requests, and demo appointments

5. Hosting and Data Location

Our systems are operated in the Google Cloud Region Zurich (Switzerland). All data is stored and processed exclusively in Switzerland. Upon request, we also offer EU hosting (GDPR-compliant, e.g. in Frankfurt or the Netherlands).

Data is stored encrypted at rest and transmitted encrypted in transit.

6. Data Processing on Behalf (DPA)

Myntify uses the infrastructure of Google Cloud Platform, operated by Google Switzerland GmbH. A Data Processing Addendum (DPA) according to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. Data processing takes place exclusively within the selected region (Zurich) and under Swiss data protection law.

7. Data Disclosure

Personal data is only disclosed if:

• it is required for contract performance,
• there is a legal obligation, or
• you have given your explicit consent.

Transfers to third countries occur only if an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by the EU Commission or through appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

8. Data Security

We protect your data using appropriate technical and organizational measures, including access controls, encryption, role-based permissions, and regular audits. Internal and external communication is exclusively conducted through secure channels (TLS 1.2+).

9. Cookies and Analytics

Our website (myntify.io) uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze usage and improve our online offering. For this purpose, we use the web analytics service Google Analytics, operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your device and enable an analysis of website usage. The information generated by these cookies is usually transmitted to a Google server in the EU or the USA and stored there. This website uses IP anonymization, so your IP address is shortened before transmission and can no longer be linked directly to you.

Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Art. 31 revDSG). You may withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner or your browser settings.

Note: Within the Myntify software (application platform), Google Analytics or any other tracking tools are not used. The data processed there is used solely to operate the application and is not used for analysis or marketing purposes.

Under the revDSG and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we process
• Rectification of inaccurate data
• Deletion (“right to be forgotten”)
• Restriction of processing
• Data portability
• Objection to certain processing activities

11. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the respective purposes or as required by law. After that, it will be deleted or anonymized.

12. Contact Forms / Demo Requests

Data submitted through forms on our website (e.g. name, email, message) is used exclusively to process your request and will not be shared with third parties.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Myntify may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example in the event of legal changes or technical developments. The latest version published on this website always applies.
